Abstract
200,260. Devonald, J. April 27, 1922. Plug cocks for drawing off fluid from a pipe line. An outer member a is screw-threaded at j for insertion into a threaded hole in the pipe-line. The plug d is provided with an axial outlet l communicating by openings l<1> with the interior of the pipe. The plug d is screw-threaded at i to receive a hose-pipe or the like, and its projecting stem b is secured bv a nut k and washer e. This plug cock provides a minimum of projection and is suitable for use in mines. Specifications 9948/90, 421/91, 17934/91. and 1463/95, [Class 21, Casks &c.], are referred to.
