Abstract

A device for locking a slide fastener when it is in the closed state is proposed with which the slide fastener can be securedly locked with reliability to prevent spontaneous unfastening but still can be unlocked with ease and convenience when the slide fastener is to be opened. The device is composed of a cranked pull tab 1 engaged to the sliders consisting of a lower flat 1a, an upper flat 1c serving as a handle for grasping with fingers and a riser connecting them 1b, the pull tab being provided with an aperture 4,and a top stop 6 with a protrusion 7 to be inserted into the aperture 4 of the pull tab when the slide fastener is to be locked and a means for interlocking the protrusion to the pull tab when the protrusion is inserted into the aperture e.g. a locking pin passing through a hole 10 in the protrusion 7. <IMAGE>
