Abstract
199,478. Alexander, C. J. March 25, 1922. Gas-stoves comprise a heat-absorbiug plate h of fire-brick or other refractory material on which the flames from one or more inverted bunsen burners j, j<1> impinge. The stove casing may be fenestrated at top, front, and sides, or in one or more of these positions, to expose the flames to view, the stove shown having a hinged front c with an opening d covered with gauze e. A second fire-brick o having apertures for the burners may be arranged above the first to retain the heat. Utensils may be heated over an opening p in the stove top. The burners and regulators m are preferably of the kind described in Specifications 21152/12 and 181,081, [both in Class 75 (i), Burners &c.] respectively.
