Abstract
Hydrochloric acid produced in the manufacture of chlorbenzene and other chlorinated organic substances, is purified by passing it over carbon or charcoal of high adsorption or decolorizing power, for example such as is prepared in the manner described in Specification 10126/14, [Class 55 (ii), Gas manufacture &c.]. Specification 156,543 also is referred to.ALSO:Hydrochloric acid produced in the manufacture of chlorbenzene and other chlorinated organic substances is purified by passing it over carbon or charcoal of high adsorption or decolorizing power for example such as is prepared in the manner described in Specification 10126/14, [Class 90, Non-metallic elements]. Specification 156,543, [Class 1 (i), Chemical processes &c.], also is referred to.
