Abstract
193,937. Taylor, A., and Royal Glasgow Asylum for the Blind. Nov. 28, 1921. Helical springs. - A spring mattress &c. comprises an assemblage of helical springs which are formed with top and bottom coils a of octagonal or polygonal form and are arranged in rows with adjacent top and bottom coils touching. Parallel sides of adjacent coils are then hingedly secured together by clips e comprising two eyes f which embrace the parallel sides, and portions g bent to extend along the adjacent angled sides of the spring. In an alternative form of clip, one eye is formed at the centre of the part e. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 189,964, [Class 52 (iv), Upholstery &c.].
