Tools for setting-out work.-A scribing-block is provided with a movable block or box-like fitting in which is pivoted a knee-shaped lever carrying the scriber and provided with screw and spring adjustment. The block or box fitting b is clamped, as usual, on the post A by a screw j, and has pivoted to it at i a lever d, in one end of which the scriber c is clamped by a screw l. The other end of the lever d embraces a bolt e pivoted at h on the block b and provided with an adjusting-nut f. A spring g on the bolt e is interposed between the lever d and the block b to press the lever against the nut.
