Abstract

21,320. Baker, C. Sept. 22. Cutting-appliances.-A tool for cutting linoleum &c. comprises a holder B provided with a shoe portion b adapted to pass under the material and an inclined blade A clamped between the holder B and a cover-plate C. The portion of the holder that carries the shoe is cut away so as to form a downwardly-inclined guide b adapted to depress the portion d being severed away from the remainder D, to facilitate the cutting operation. The end a of the blade may be sharpened for use in cutting corners, curves, &c. The tool may be adapted for a push stroke.
