Abstract
11,302. Dr. Bayer •s Tßrsa, [Firm of]. June 28, 1912, [Convention date]. Organo-mercuric compounds.-A mercurytyrosine compound is obtained by heating an aqueous solution containing tyrosine and mercuric ions, for example, a solution containing tyrosine and mercuric acetate. The product dissolves in caustic alkali solutions; the alkali solutions or the compound itself can be used as an internal or external remedy in blennorrhoea, &c. The Specification as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a) describes also the production of the compound by heating tyrosine solution with mercuric oxide; this subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
