Abstract

3476. Scott, W. J. I. Feb. 12. Envelopes; wrappers.-An envelope or wrapper for patterns, samples, &c., adapted for transmission and reply, comprises two address flaps B, C of substantially the same size and shape, folding in the same direction one upon the other, and both secured by a metal clip or its equivalent. The flaps B, C are shown as provided with eyelets B<1>, C<1> which register with each other, when the flaps are folded down upon the body A, so that both may be engaged by one metal clip A'. The outer address flap B is preferably perforated along its folding-edge so as to be easily detached before re - transmission, while the inner flap C is attached to the outer flap by a gummed margin C<2>, and may have the name and address of the original sender already printed thereon.
