Abstract
23,171. Siemens & Co., Geb. Nov. 19, 1908, [Convention date]. Arc-lamp electrodes.-Phosphoboric acid BPO4, or a mixture of phosphoric and boric acids or their anhydrides, is added to electrodes or cores, especially such as contain water-glass or salts of alkali, alkaline-earth, or rare-earth metals. Phosphoboric acid may be obtained by evaporating a solution of boric acid in phosphoric acid, or by heating the anhydrides together.
