6519. Woodruff, H., and Budgett, H. B. March 18. Drawings to Specification. Feeding and measuring.-Material is fed from a moistening-apparatus by a screw conveyer into a shoot, at the top of which it can escape in case of excessive pressure. The shoot delivers it to a moulding apparatus, such as two revolving rollers with co-operating recesses, the briquettes &c. produced being discharged by a conveyer into a receptacle. The material consists of a mixture of coaldust &c. and a pulverized binder, which has been mixed, heated dry, and moistened.
