Abstract

15,957. Union Special Maschinenfabrik Ges. Nov. 22, 1907, [date applied for under Section 91 of Patents &c. Act, 1907]. Clutches hand-wheels. -A friction clutch for use in fabric-stretching machinery of the type described in Specification No. 18,386, A.D. 1906, [A bridgment Class Fabrics, Dressing, &c.], is designed to prevent too great a torque from being applied to the shaft 32, and consists of a cone 34 secured to the shaft and a hand-wheel 35 slidable and rotatable on the shaft and haviug a coned surface 36, and normally held out of engagement by means of a spring 37.
