Abstract
23,820. Gibbs, W. F., and Peile, J. W. Oct. 31. Seats; settees; chairs; cabinets; shelves.-Cosycorner wall aud corner fittings comprise a main piece a, Fig. 1, which is shaped to fit the corner and can be used as a settee, and smaller pieces c, which are shaped like easy chairs without arms and can be used as chairs. The seat of the piece a is formed with a curved front b<2> and with the sides b<1> disposed approximately at right-angles. The pieces are connected together by means of hasps and eyes, straps, bolts, screws, &c. ; in the example shown in Fig. 3, thumb-screws d are passed through eyes or rings d' on the one piece into screwed sockets d<2> on the adjacent piece. A corner cabinet e and shelf f may be fitted on the piece a, or into the corner, and the pieces c are then provided with corresponding ornamentations g.
