24,202. Johnson, S. W. Nov. 16. Seats.-Folding and portable garden seats have three pairs of cross-legs A bolted together at B and connected by two bars C, F bolted to the legs. The back supports K, with cross-bars H, I, J, are bolted to the back legs and project some distance beyond the bolts. Turn-buttons M on the back or legs can be turned outward to form an abutment for the back supports. The seat is of canvas G or of strips fixed to the bars C, F, or the slots may be on a hinged frame, or a removable frame may have forks which drop over the bars C, F. The seat may be folded as in Fig. 2, or the bars C, F may be removed and the back folded back as shown in Fig. 4, the parts being secured by cords.
