Skein-holders.-A device for holding skeins of wool &c. to facilitate the winding thereof into balls for use in knitting &c. comprises two reels or spools f rotatably and elastically mounted in brackets, which are adapted to be clamped to a table &c., and comprises horizontal and parallel arms c<1>, c<2>, one or both of which are resilient. One or both of the brackets may be provided with guide eyes c<4> for the material.
