Regulating.-In a two-stroke engine of the type having two parallel cylinders each having two pistons 2, 3 and 4, 5, a throttle valve 12 is provided beyond the exhaust box or silencer 10, whereby the exhaust may be throttled so as to produce a back-pressure which increases the working pressure, and consequently the power, of the engine.
