Abstract

175,126. Rogers, F. E. W., and Dring, C. Nov. 30, 1920. Tyre-valves. - A tyre valve adapted for use without a flexible pump connection is provided with an angular extension E having a screwed nipple B to receive a pump fitting or a dust cap A. The part E may have a tapered bore adapted to fit a corresponding extension on the member carrying the sleeve valve K, or it may be secured to the usual screwed nipple. In each case sufficient play is given to the securing nut G so that the valve can be removed without removing the extension. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 13181/98, [Class 99, Pipes &c.], 14702/05, 8185/08, 27432/08, and 428/10.
