Abstract

173,594. Favero, M. Sept. 30, 1920. Trouser presses. - A trouser press comprises upper and lower pressure boards and cam-bars f, Fig. 1, mounted to slide in pivoted and slotted guide.lugs g at the opposite edges of the lower pressure board and luge i on the upper pressure board projecting through vertical slots in the guide-lugs and engaging the cam-bars. Separate cuff-pressing members o may be pivoted to each other and the main pressure boards and pressed together by screws q. The main pressure boards may be in two parts hinged together as shown. Fig. 3 shows modified cuff-pressing members, wherein the lower member is pivoted to the lower main presser board and the upper member comprises two end plates m integral with a flange m and provided with a curved spring strip n.
