Presses. - A neck-tie press has the two adjacent edges on one side of the pressure members perrmanently connected together by metallic hinges adapted to yield or extend so as to accommodate articles of various thicknesses, and the opposite or free edges of the pressure members fitted with a readily-operated fastening device. The hinges may comprise spiral springs 5 let into recesses 7, 9 and made of non-corroding material, or enamelled or plated.
