Bark, removing.-A ring of bark having been cut from one end, the log is passed through one or more rings of tools k, preferably square-ended chisels, supported by springs n and adjustable by means of cam surfaces r on the holder q, which can be adjusted by a hand-lever v. The several sets of tools are staggered, and the log may be revolved whilst being passed through the machine.
