Frame construction; springs, arrangement of. -A chassis for a perambulator &c. comprises a pair of longitudinal tubes 1 continued at one end to form a handle 2, 12, transverse tubes 6, 7 secured to the tubes 1 by socketed lugs 3, 8, and' cee-springs 5, 9 secured to flats or socketed lugs. 4 carried by the projecting ends of the transverse tubes 6, 7. The free ends of the springs 5, 9 are connected by means of shackles and straps to corss-bars 10 carried by the body of the perambulator &c.
