Locking nuts.-A nut C is locked to a bolt A by means of an elastic washer E, formed from resilient metal, and having a peripheral beaded portion B. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes also radial slots provided: in the flat portion of the washer and extending from the central hole to the channel-shaped por tion, for the purpose of increasing the resilience. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
