166,386. Churchill, A. V. May 3, 1920. Coats, jackets, overcoats, waterproof garments. -Relates to oilskin coats and jackets of the type having a double thickness extending at least over the upper portion of the back, breast, and arms, and consists in arranging the seams of the inner and outer layers so that they do not coincide except under the arms and where the the two layers are joined together at the neck, and facings and the ends of the sleeves. As shown, the seams C are differently situated on the two layers, with the effect that the seams of the inner layer are protected from the percolation of water.
