Abstract

162,385. Yarrow, H. E. Jan. 27, 1920. Lacing-hooks.-One or both hooks of a pair are pivotally mounted and so constructed that when rotated from securing position the lace can be removed without untying. The hook is pivoted at C in an eyelet B and has a part D eccentric to the pivot C to receive the lace between flanges C<1> and E. The flange E overhangs one side of the part D, and is flush with the other side so that when the hook is rotated by the flattened top F the lace can be slipped off. The part D may be tapered to facilitate release of the lace.
