Transmitting power.-Apparatus for pneumatic transmission of power comprises a multi-cylinder reciprocating pump driven through reducing gearing, the discharge conduits j<3> from each pump cylinder each leading to a separate point on the periphery of a turbine and being there provided with a valve k<4> to prevent back pressure, and the fluid returning from the turbine through pipes i<1>.
