Abstract

161,718. Lillicrap, F. J. Jan. 22, 1920. Bracelets. - E a c h complete unit of an expanding bracelet comprises two outer box links 1 connected by cross-bars 2, a U- shaped link 5, and a central link 10, the links 5, 10 being adapted to slide in opposite directions out of the outer frame and having no positive or direct connection together. The springs 8 controlling the link 5 are contained in the outer box links and act against side lugs 7 on the link. The central link 10 is guided by a rod 12 joining the two cross-bars and passing longitudinally through the link. One crossbar has an enlarged central portion 15, Fig. 4, forming shoulders which guide the U-shaped link 5, a roller 9 being placed over the enlarged portion. The link 10 slides over the enlarged portion 4 of the other cross-bar between distancepieces 14.
