Abstract

284,497. Buttons, Ltd., and Evans, W. March 30, 1927. Buckles.-A buckle comprises a pressed or stamped sheet metal frame a between the flanged sides b of which slide two other pressed or stamped and slotted sheet metal frames c for fastening the two ends of a strap &c. The frame a has a cross-bar d between openings e for the passage of the strap &c. around the cross-bars h of the frame c. Projections j are formed at the outer ends of the cross-bars h to serve as stops to engage the frame a, and the inner edges of the cross-bars g of the frames c are bent in the reverse direction to the depressions.
