Abstract

160,614. Balding, W. H. Jan. 19, 1920. Girths.- A girth is made with two portions c, c' of less width than the remaining parts, these portions being spaced behind the forelegs of the horse to as to avoid chafing. The reduction in width is preferably effected by cutting the girth longitudinally as shown at b, b<1> and crossing and overlapping the outer strips, a distance piece e and a backing f securing the strips in their overlapped positions.
