Magneto - electric machines; collecting- rings. - Current-collectors for magnetoelectric machines comprise a collector brush co-operating across a spark-gap with a conducting- ring 6 embedded in an insulating - bushing, the latter being formed with grooves for ventilating purpcses. The flange of the bushing 4 is provided with a number of grooves 10 as shown in Fig. 3 and one or more holes 11, 12 are provided as air-passages in the casing.
