Abstract

158,136. Parker, W. V. Nov. 24, 1919. Vehicle lamps, directing. -In a head-light controlling means, the lamp bracket 1 is mounted on ball bearings 2 in a support 10, the bracket being prolonged and secured by a nut 5 to a curved control arm 6 formed on a nut 4, a spiral spring 3 being fitted having lugs which engage with the bracket 10 and nut 4. By movement of a steering-rod 8 connecting the front wheels and to which the arm 6 is secured by a bracket 7 allowing free movement to the bracket before the arm 6 is actuated, the lamp may be turned in accordance with the movement of the front wheels.
