Abstract

155,761. Beede, H. G. Nov. 6, 1914, [Convention date]. Baths and reservoirs.-A spindle c for textile twisting or spinning machines having a bolster case a and a bolster b for the spindle capable of lateral movement in the case is provided with a ball bearing d in the plane of the driving-pulley f. An oil reservoir maintains oil in the case to above the ball bearing, the oil acting as a cushion to impede lateral motion of the bolster. Grooves are formed in the bolster to facilitate circulation of lubricant.
