Abstract
155,241. Soc. Anon. des Ateliers de Constructions Mecaniques Escher, Wyss, et Cie. Dec. 8, 1919, [Convention date]. Addition to 105,748. Cooling and heating parts.-Multi-stage centrifugal compressors provided with cooling channels parallel to the axis of the shaft as claimed in the parent Specification, are constructed so that only certain of the stages 17, 18, 19, 26 extend radially outwardly so as to be intersected by the cooling channels, the remaining stages 9, 10, 11, 13 being wholly within the cooling channels. By this means fewer partitions between stages are intersected by the cooling channels.
