Abstract

179,090. Sims, A. G. June 24, 1921. Shaft couplings.-In machines for cutting and crushing coke and the like, the shafts carrying the rollers are mounted so that they can be withdrawn. A coupling 5, having one end completely encircling an end of a permanent shaft c and secured thereto, is formed at the other end as a bed for the end of the removable shaft, into which tongues 6 fit. A cap 7 is secured over this end by bolts passing through holes 8.
