Abstract

The tilting bearing intended for heavy loading and large tilting angles has a pressure cushion (4) made of elastic or plastic material inserted into a pot (1, 2). This cushion is covered by a cover plate (3) inserted into the pot in the manner of a piston. The pot wall (2) is curved on the inside and the cover plate (3), in its region engaging in the pot, on the outside corresponding to the tilting movements of the cover plate, and designed in the shape of a spherical zone for tilting on all sides.
