1536741 Metal cutting tools MAPAL FABRIK FUR PRAZISIONSWERKZEUGE DR KRESS KG 8 Jan 1976 [9 Jan 1975] 00652/76 Heading B3C In a metal cutting tool such as a reamer or deep hole drill, each of one or more cutters 4 is clamped against a shoulder 24 in the cutter head 2 by a clamping jaw 6 actuated by a doublethreaded screw 62 and adjustably set radially of the tool axis by means of a pair of setting members 8 spaced from each other on either side and parallel to the screw 62 beneath the jaw 6 or parallel to shoulder 24. Each member has an inclined wedge surface 42 which engages the cutter 4. The jaw 6 may have recesses 64 for receiving the ends of the setting members 8.
