Abstract

1536527 Combined stapler and hole punch EIC INTERNATIONAL CORP 20 May 1977 21279/77 Heading B4C and B4B A combined stapler and hole puncher is characterized by an actuator 53 slidably accommodated in a press handle 4 and movable between the Fig. 1 position in which depression of handle 4 actuates punch 5 but does not drive a staple, and the Fig. 2 position in which a staple is driven but the punch is not depressed. Actuator 53 is moved by knob 42 which carries a projection 421 for engagement with a notch 431 or 432 to lock the actuator in position. Parts 41 and 341 form a staple removing pincers.
