1534067 Tubular heat exchangers A U LIPETS V F MOSKVICHEV G V KATYSHEV L N ARTEMOV A F BAKANOV R N SHAMAROKOVA A A DOLGY S A ELETSKY Y N GRINBERG V A ARDAMATSKY S N VIVSIK V E ZAVEDEEV I J ZEVIN and E A FADEEV 30 March 1976 12770/76 Headings F4A and F4S A heat-exchanger (particularly suitable for use as a steam superheater) comprises a number of modules 2 (Fig. 2) having elongate casings through which primary fluid is passed via parallel connections 8, 8a, and a main casing 1 in which the modules are located and which has secondary fluid inlet and outlet 10, 10a; a plurality of straight open-ended tubes 4 being located through each module for the passage of secondary fluid and displacement members 6 being located between the modules to help balance temperature gradients. As shown, steam at low pressure enters at 10 and is superheated by high pressure steam fed in at 12 to module inlet lines 8. The condensed high pressure steam leaves at 12a.
