1523194 Fire proofing structures ADVANCED FIREPROOFING SYSTEMS Ltd 4 May 1977 [24 March 1976] 11796/76 Heading E1K Helical members 14 are secured to the edges 13 of a projecting member 11 exposed to fire hazard, the helical members and the structure being coated with an intumescent material. The helical member may also be pre-coated before being attached to the structural member by spaced clips 16. Alternatively the helical members may be attached by means of woven or non-woven asbestos or fibre glass material which is secured to the flanges by an epoxy adhesive.
