152,280. Hazell, J. S. April 23, 1920. Addition to 150,557. Rotary-chamber pumps; balancing moving parts.-In a centrifugal pump of the type described in the parent Specification, the body of the impeller is provided with partitions e, e<1> forming the compartments f, f<1> containing air, and a compartment f<2> diametrically opposite the discharge outlet of the impeller to contain a quantity of liquid sufficient to balance the impeller when in operation. Plugs g, h are provided for filling and emptying the chamber f<2>.
