151,505. Jones, H. Sefton-, (Addis, F. H.). Nov. 24, 1919. Golf and like clubs.-A union for the shafts and heads of golf clubs &c. comprises a metal socket A containing a coil spring E, and a round-ended spigot B containing a double spring catch D which enters slots in the socket when the two parts are pressed into engagement. The various club heads attached to sockets such as A may be carried in a belt and fitted to the shaft portion B as required. By forming the socket ends of the golf club heads of different lengths, the requisite degrees of elasticity are imparted to the various clubs formed by the same shaft. When not connected to a club head, the shaft may be provided at the end with a cap for use as a walking-stick.
