Abstract

1515047 Dermatomes D S DAVIES 30 April 1976 [12 May 1975] 17834/76 Heading A5R A dermatome comprises a cutting head 12 mounting a blade 44 drivable in transverse oscillatory motion, a guide bar 78 mounted between laterally spaced arms 52, an adjustment shaft 54 carried by arms 52 and having two cams 66 secured thereto, and leaf springs 72 secured to guide bar 78 and engaging cams 66, whereby in use rotation of adjustment shaft 54 to engage a detent 62 in one of a series of recesses 64 adjusts the depth of cut of the dermatome by moving buide bar 78.
