Abstract

1372388 Mounting pulleys H K HALLETT 29 Nov 1972 [22 Dec 1971] 59780/71 Addition to 1310279 Heading B8B [Also in Division A1] A guide device for flexible lines comprises a pulley block 15 upstanding from a rotor block 10 which is rotatably mounted on a hollow tip 1 receivable on the end of a rod, (e.g. fishing rod) the base 11 of the rotor block having a blind bore in which is journalled a ring member at the end of the tip 1, the base either being deformed to lock it on to the ring or sprung on to the ring. The line passing along the rod extends through a split in the ring and though the slot 14, whilst the rotor block is in a position 180 degrees from its normal operating position, the line thereafter passes around the pulley 18 and a guide slot 19 formed by the pulley block side plates.
