Abstract

1513897 Cartons J LANGENBACH AG 22 Oct 1975 [25 Oct 1974 7 May 1975] 43351/75 Heading B8P A carton formed from a blank comprises side walls, a lid portion 7 hinged to one side wall along hinge line 15<SP>111</SP> and initially as erected also connected to the other side walls but separable therefrom by means of a tear strip (Fig. 2 shows the tear strip removed); and a carrying tab 22 cut from a panel (as shown) or from superimposed panels (Figs. 4-9, not shown) forming the lid, and foldable out of the plane of the lid about the hinge line 15<SP>111</SP> between the lid and the one side wall, the lid portion remaining after the handle has been removed therefrom still serving (prior to removal of the tear strip) to sealingly close the carton.
