Abstract

1510845 Froth flotation AMERICAN CYANAMID CO 10 July 1975 [1 Aug 1974] 29111/75 Heading B2H A collector for copper ores comprises a mixture of an N-alkyl, O-alkyl thionocarbamate and an alkali metal or ammonium salt of a dialkyldithiophosphate. An aqueous solution of the two components is prepared and then added to the ore. An example describes the flotation of a copper/molybdenum are at a pH of 10.8 using a mixture of methyl isobutyl carbinol and six and eight carbon alcohols as frothing agents.
