Abstract
1510688 Heat exchange tubes GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 2 Dec 1975 [4 Dec 1974] 49438/75 Heading F4S [Also in Division B3] A finned heat exchange tube comprises a tube 14 on to which is wound a helical fin 12 in intimate contact with the tube wall except at end regions thereof where the fin is secured by means such as an adhesive 27 to the tube. Adjacent turns of the fin may be deformed as shown in Fig. 4. The fin and tube may be made of aluminium. A method of making the tube is described (see Division B3).
