1507112 Chain couplings K A BERGS SMIDE AB 28 Jan 1976 [31 Jan 1975] 03374/76 Heading F2Q A coupling comprises a pair of two-armed levers 1, 2 rotatably interconnected by a pivot pin 3, the levers having arcuate portions 4, 5 which overlap to form a substantially closed eye 8 in the closed operative position of the coupling, the other ends of the levers 1, 2 having lugs 14, 15a, 15b which are apertured to receive a pin or bolt 18 which also engages apertured lugs 24a, 24b, 25 of another coupling member 20. A flexible locking sleeve 19 is located on the pin 18; alternatively a pair of split pins may be employed. The opposed end faces of the arcuate portions 4, 5 are provided with projections 10 which engage corresponding recesses 11.
