Abstract

1498974 Cleaning vehicle windscreens and head-lamp lenses ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 16 May 1975 [1 Oct 1974] 20787/75 Heading A4F [Also in Division B2] For use in cleaning vehicle windscreens and head-lamp lenses, a nozzle member 14 has a fixed outlet passage 16 and one or more passages 17, the angle of which is adjustable relative to that of the passage 16. They connect with a single inlet 15, and the member is adapted to be attached to a wiper arm. In the embodiment illustrated in Figs. 3 and 4 the member 14 has a channel 19 for receiving a wiper arm having an aperture engageable with a projection 23 in the channel 19. The outlet passages 16, 17 are arranged to be directed respectively towards and parallel to the surface tube cleaned, the passage 17 being provided in an adjustable ball 18. In a second embodiment the nozzle member 33 Fig. 5 (not shown) is formed integrally with a connector member for attaching a wiper blade to the wiper arm and a hose for cleaning liquid passes through a biasing spring.
