1495937 Door fastenings EILDON MARKETING SERVICES Ltd 20 Dec 1974 [22 Dec 1973] 59671/73 Heading E2A The opening of a door is limited by an arm 2 pivoted to the door frame and having an undercut channel receiving the head 8 of a bolt 5 which may be retracted against spring 10 by means of an inside knob 7 or by a lock 17. The head of the bolt is retained in the channel by a projecting pin 21 which is allowed to enter by a slot 27. When the door is at the end of its restrained travel, the bolt may be rotated within the limit set by the vertical arm of L-shaped slot 20. to align pin 21 with a slot 29 to allow the bolt to be retracted, permitting full opening of the door.
