1489837 Treating molten metal FOSECO INTERNATIONAL Ltd 26 March 1975 [4 April 1974] 12757/75 Heading F4B [Also in Division C7] Apparatus for treating molten metal includes a cylindrical vessel mounted for rotation with its axis horizontal, so that metal contained therein can be moved in and out of contact with a treatment agent contained in a compartment mounted on the wall of the cylinder and opening to the interior of the cylinder through a refractory grid. As illustrated the vessel 1 having a filling/pouring spout 4 is supported in bearings 3. Reagent is located in chamber 5 to which external access is available through removable cover 6.
