Abstract
1489247 Phosphonate esters and their hydrolysates DYNAMIT NOBEL AG 30 Aug 1974 [1 Sept 1973] 08890/77 Divided out of 1489241 Heading C2P The invention comprises phosphonate esters of the formulµ wherein R<SP>1</SP> is a C 1 -C 12 alkyl group optionally interrupted by one or more hetero atoms or radicals and optionally containing one or more halogen substituents, and the partial or complete hydrolysates of said esters. The esters may be obtained by appropriate methods described in parent Specification 1,489,241. The products are useful for increasing the resistance to corrosion of metal surfaces and for improving the adhesion of organic materials to metal surfaces.
